I'm not sure if this is the right place to submit this report though it is
related to localisation:

In Writer, I have cells where I'd like to format some numbers as being Rands.
The normal format I'd expect to be able to use is "R 1 234.00" however I'm
presented with "$ 1,234.00" when choosing "ZAR" currency.

This cannot be correct.

I have not tested this in Calc
