Norton Security Scan found 44 threats (unproven) in Open Office 3.2.0 on this
notebook ACER Aspire 5600.
I uninstalled open office and downloaded/installed it again from openoffice.org.
However Norton still finds these threats.

Same Norton Security Scan was done on a FujitsuSiemens Amilo XI2428 and NO
threat was detected.

What is going on ?

most likely the application has found false positives or the hardware is broken ;-)

Appears to be false positives or infection from another source.  We have not received other reports of this issue.
