This sounds a little like the file associations on the second machine look valid but are not. Maybe they point to some older, half uninstalled version of OpenOffice? I have Woindows 10 and I spent hours working on documents and writing a book and cannot open any of them. It processes and then just stops without opening. Also constant crashing. Is it Windows 10 I am using version 4.1.2 (In reply to mkleckner15 from comment #2) > I have Woindows 10 and I spent hours working on documents and writing a book > and cannot open any of them. It processes and then just stops without > opening. Also constant crashing. Is it Windows 10 I am using version 4.1.2 Sorry, this is not the situation described by the creator of this issue. I appreciate that the title is not that clear. Also notice that this issue is two years old without any follow-up to Andre's response, so it is about 4.1.0 and Windows XP. I am going to resolve the current issue as irreproducible because of the lack of information. With regard to the Windows 10 question of mlecckner15, there needs to be more information (and a better place to work through it). Look at Issue 126188. Is this closer to what you are experiencing. Please see the last comment there. |
