Description issues@www 2000-11-10 08:00:11 UTC
The Download of the binaries for 609 for Linux does not neither contain help-
items nor filters to be installed.
Is this lacking or is it a compiling mistake?

Hi dennis,
as it is written here:
(http://www.openoffice.org/dev_docs/source/source_overview.html):
What's there and what's not
"The source code available at Openoffice.org is the majority of the current
source code under development for StarOffice 6.0. Not
available are certain 3rd party source code (for example: printing, spell
checking);......."

"The source code is pre Alpha code and is undergoing extensive development and
change." So due to this fact there are no help files for this version.

the reason for no linux download of 609 is due to editions on the internet
