Please try using the latest OpenOffice 1.1 Final , you can download it from www.openoffice.org many bug fixes and enhancements since your version and 1.1 Final . If the problem still happend in 1.1 please report back It maybe not yet solve your Issue, but it worth to try. The "flat 'buttons'" now at least have a consitent look, although you cannot any longer call them "buttons" with this new look... To be honest, I think it looks terrible and should at least have been made optional if implemented at all, but it's probably no bug but a feature I need to get used to... :-( However, if you enable "normal" toolbar buttons, it stills looks *very* strange - which i still would call a bug. Well, and, concerning the old, nice "flat toolbar-buttons", regard this bug as a feature request for re-implementing them (as an option?) in this regard. ;) Greetings, Gunter Hi gohrner, thanks for using and supporting OpenOffice... The only way at the moment is to disable "flat buttons"... I made this an enhancement since the flat buttons may perhaps look ugly but I think this is not a bug... reassigned to bh I am really annoyed with the "3D" look. There should at least be a option to revert back to the old look. I really think the old icons were way better, like on 1.4. I use OpenOffice because its powerfull, not pretty. To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on my owner to the owner "requirements". |
