thanks changing QA contact from bugs@ to issues@ A temporary fix is to use Xvfb. More info at http://www.itworld.com/AppDev/1461/UIR000330xvfb/ Looks good in OOo 1.0 As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved <wontfix/duplicate/worksforme/invalid> issues. Please see this posting for details. First step in IssueZilla is unfortunately to set them to verified. As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved <wontfix/duplicate/worksforme/invalid> issues. Please see this posting for details. This problem still exists (1.1rc2), though it's not well described here. The issue is that the 'install' script (not to be confused with 'setup') requires the presence of an X server even though it doesn't use one at all. This makes it hard to run truly unattended installations. The workaround I mentioned (Xvfb) makes it possible, but that really shouldn't be neccessary. Please reopen this issue. hello |
