The release management team (James, Martin, Sander, Armin, Michael, Robert) 
would like to synchronize their efforts on a public list 
releases@openoffice.org. Furthermore this would give ports the chance to jump 
in and be ready at the same time.
Please create the list with the same attributes as discuss@openoofice.org (open 
for public posting, respecting ooposters, postings only if subscribed, ...).

I need two things:
  * Who is the list owner?
  * Who will be the list moderator - this person approves posts from non-list 
members (makes sure it's not spam, for example.  You should have more then one 
person doing this)

Stefan, could you please send a test email to this list?  I need someone on 
ooposters but not subscribed to the list to test it.

I am trying to move away from nonspecific owners like these; afaik, these were 
default addresses that were set up when we didn't know specific individuals.  
In fact, I am the main moderator for every list, and I have heard some 
grumbeling on the lists in the past that sometimes it takes a day or two for 
some messages to get moderated.  I moderate every day during the week, but 
sometimes on the weekends I don't get to it.  If the project owners are also 
moderating their lists (which I think makes sense), in general it won't take as 
long for messages to get moderated.

Perhaps we could make these email addresses (mailadmin & moderators) aliases 
that point to a group of people, like the project leaders?
