Description Unknown 2002-02-17 19:51:21 UTC
I am running Windows 98SE. I have found on both the spreadsheet and word
processor programs that after removing a printer that had been the default
printer, I get an error message which states "No default printer found. Please
choose a printer and try again." even though there is a new default printer on
the system. Moreover, it locks me out of the "printer settings" dialog with
the same message.

The only way I have found to get around this problem is to create a brand new
document and then paste the contents of the old document into it.

PS The specific printer involved is an HP 842C. I have had some problems with
one of my computers recently and had to move it from one computer on the
network to another.
