Description caolanm 2001-01-26 17:50:18 UTC
curses, I have two issuezilla accounts, caolan.mcnamara@sun.com and
caolan.mcnamara@germany.sun.com. This is causing all sorts of confusion, and is
all entirely my own fault.

I have reassigned all my @germany.sun.com buga to @sun.com and request that the
issuezilla acc caolan.mcnamara@germany.sun.com be deleted which should force bug
assigners to use the correct one.

I disabled caolan@germany.sun.com and caolan@skynet.ie.
Comment 2 stx123 2001-01-26 19:18:38 UTC
fixed
Comment 3 stx123 2001-02-01 16:43:56 UTC
Caolan, any further action needed?
Otherwise I will close the bug.
Comment 4 caolanm 2001-02-01 17:59:23 UTC
With a bit of experimentation I see that a disabled account means that I cannot
login as the @germany account, but bugs in issuezilla can be assigned to email
accounts that are disabled. Issuezilla just cannot prevent a user from assigning
a bug to a disabled account. Issue can be closed as no action is possible.
Comment 5 stx123 2001-02-01 18:10:00 UTC
I played a bit with the options of the @germany account and removed all
permissions.
Could you try once more whether assigning a bug is still possible?
If so, I think we really see a bug/missing feature in Issuezilla:
How to prevent assigning to outdated accounts?
Comment 6 caolanm 2001-02-02 10:52:35 UTC
Thats seems to be true, I can still assign bugs to a given invalid id, check the
activity on these two issues <a
href="http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_activity.cgi?id=337">337</a>, which
is an old bug reassigned to the invalid user and a new bug I submitted and
assigned directly to the invalid name <a
href="http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=361">361</a>. I cannot
log in as germany.sun.com and if I could Im sure I could do nothing, but that
doesn't seem to prevent others assigning to it.
