Attached file was created in StarOffice 5.2 - note the line drawing, boxes and 
text as the key.

Looks fine in Staroffice 5.2
Open in Openoffice 614 - the text box moves
Save from StarOffice to Excel 97 - note the moved box and the "y"s before the =
Save from OpenOffice 614 to Excel 97 - open in Excel - note the boxes in the 
text
re-open the saved xls file in openoffice - not the blank boxes

they are probably all related...

-In OpenOffice 619 I can't reproduce "moving" boxes.
-StarOffice5.2 has a missing feature (Export of Rowheight in empty rows)
-The Boxes in Excel after saving from OpenOffice are the TAB's which are not 
possible in Excel (missing feature in Excel)
-Lost of textes in grouped boxes after reloading => Bug
