Description jeremysanders 2002-05-03 14:36:22 UTC
Using xfs to supply truetype fonts to OpenOffice, openoffice renders many of the
fonts incorrectly on the screen. For instance Arial is shown as standard arial,
even if bold or italic is chosen. Times New Roman is shown always as arial. Some
of the truetype fonts work correctly (e.g. Andale Mono). Fortunately the fonts
look correct when printed.

There was no problem with 638c.

PS Why does this stupid bugzilla forget things when you go back (if you miss out
a field)?!? - no other bugzillas do this!

this is most probably a duplicate to #i4366#

I think so too. Please have a look at
http://www.openoffice.org/FAQs/fontguide.html
for a workaround. If that does not work please let me know.

As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved duplicate
issues. Please see this posting for details. First step in IssueZilla is
unfortunately to set them to verified.
