Stefan, should be a double to another issue. I guess external clipboard doesn't work yet in general? Ulf, please check the current state of the clipboard (I know that it is currently under construction). Still under constructions, but have a look for improvements in 627. changing QA contact from bugs@ to issues@ This is still a problem with StarOffice 6.0beta. Have not tried with 638c proper, or 641. This is still a problem with OO 641c: Copy from OO and paste to KDE konsole, kedit: Nothing works Copy from OO and paste to gnome-terminal, gedit, netscape 4, xterm: Everything (middle button and Shift-ins) works Copy from OO and paste to xterm: Middle button works, but you have to wait 2-8 secs before the text comes Copy from all the above and paste in OO: Middle button works, but you have to wait 2-8 secs before the text comes, and then there is often a # in the end. Shift-ins inserts the last text copied in OO, ignoring later copies on other apps. This behaviour is not always reproducible. Tested on Mandrake-Linux 8.1. For reference about how clipboard in X11 should be handled, this article written by Jamie Zawinski is a must-read: http://www.jwz.org/doc/x-cut-and-paste.html This issue is solved. At least in OOo643. Pls. note that there are known bugs in Mozilla and KDE, which prevent smooth interaction between these applications and OOo. This task is fixed or worked in OOo 1.1 beta2. closed ... |
