gunzip
tar
df -h : 281 MB
./setup -net
to /usr/lib/office619
Standard

crashes (hangs) after Registering The Components.

Retried with Custom and Minimum installation, always hangs (must kill the 'dead'
installation window).
Details: 'Registering The Components' highlighting disappears after some
hd-activity, Welcome-screen refreshes (rolls) once again. Dead and over.

Oh, yes: RH62, 2.2.16-3, glibc 2.1.3
Comment 2 Olaf Felka 2001-03-01 11:48:48 UTC
Hi Uwe,
I've tried with 250MB free befor installation. No problem with the installation.
My suggestion is that tmp or swap runs out of disk space.

Mandrake 7.2, 2.2.17-21, 2.1.3

Okay, right and wrong. Freed another 500 MB and it works. Better warn users not
to trust the 230.6 MB as indicated. Simply seems to need more!

And now - you were right - it works fine as '-net'-install!

No problem any longer.
