i dont know how the open office team likes to do things but generally other projects i have seen would consider Abiword and Kword support as two very seperate feature requests and would put them in two seperate reports. bug 6764 is a feature request for Abiword support http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=6764 i have not checked to see if there is a feature request for Kword support. why is this platform specific to PC why is this OS specific to Linux you should not request 2 clearly seperate features in one bug report the summary need to be changed to be clearer "Abiword and Kword docs" what about them? A better summary would be "Import Export filters for KWord docs" (as a request for abiword support is already covered by bug 6764) anything happening with atleast the summary? - I second summary change to "Import Export filters for KWord docs". new Reassigned to BH It was just announced that all of the KOffice applications, including KWord, will be moving to the OASIS file formats (of which the current OOo format is the basis). So, soon there won't be any need for KWord filters in OOo (except for legacy documents stored in the current KWord format). OpenOffice.org Issue Tracker - Feedback Request.
