Description issues@www 2000-11-02 18:22:31 UTC
Dear to ever it belongs to,

->I installed openoffice 6.09 at a linux suse 6.2: Linux Kernel Version 2.2.10
  I used the option /net to setup (I installed as root)
-> the last entry in the setup.log is:
ERR Configuration bootstrap error. Unable to load the library libportal.so
Errors = 0

Nevertheless the Installation seemed to be successfull, that is, it came to the
expected end.

->As a normal user I invoked soffice, and installed the small user installation
   which was again succesfull.
->I invoked soffice again to use it, but the only option I was presented is
  to deinstall or to repair my installation.

Hint: I have a running soffice version 5.1 and 5.2 on my system. So I assume the
problem is not with some pecularity of my system.

I have problems with the installation on Linux with kernel 2.2.17 with binary
6.09 from download section.

I start the setup script, glibc version is show on screen and after a few
seconds a box is show on screen saying that the installation script is
initializing after that installation stops without any other symptom
