openoffice dicuss digest (with unreadable inline attachements)... none

Description issues@www 2001-01-09 01:06:44 UTC
Using Kmail from KDE 2.0.1

Each individual digest message appears as an attachment file following some
intial text. These attachement can be opened as text files, but it's hard to
navigate (each attachement is numbered) and even more effort to reply to
messages this way.

Bill Bennett,

Please reply to this issuezilla message by attaching a sample digest (see the "Create a new attachment" link above the "additional comments" field). I will look into the matter.

I had one of our engineers look into this, who has Kmail installed on one of his systems.

He reports that this is normal behavior for Kmail, and that there's nothing that we can do about it, as this is a client-side application issue.
