Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 105094
Rubbish list numbering in the footer across different page styles
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:19:52 UTC
Abruptedly a new number surfaces in the footer of a document I am editing each time I open the document. It seems associated to the page as each group of pages get cleaned all at once. What does it mean and how can I get rid of this problem? The sequence of numbers is the following: 1 2 21 1 2 22 2 3 ... 3 31 5 4 ... 4 6 8 7 I can send the file if that helps.

MRU->OD: see attached sample. There are many different page styles used in the document. List style "Numbering 1" is used in the footers and it is counted incorrectly across the pages. MRU->fbartolom: at the moment it is the best to completely delete this list style from the paragraphs in the footers. For every different page style, in the footer paragraph go to Format.Paragraph.Numbering and set the list style to "None".
Apparently it was enough to remove the Paragraph numbering that somehow creeped in. Actually I manually entered the numbers in the pages for each page type as I was puzzled by the many list that appear in Format.paragraph.numbering, the first of which gave those weird numbers until I now removed. Is there a way to number the whole document automatically?
