Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 105652
Draw: Connectors are not selectable after copy&paste
Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:40:43 UTC
I am not unable to select connector after a copy&paste Steps to preproduce: 1. Create two boxes in draw. 2. Connect them with a connector. 3. Copy/paste this connector. 4. Reconnect both ends of the new connector on other points of the boxes without deselecting it. 5. Deselect the new connector. 6. Try to select it again. Result: it can't be selected Workaround: It helps to move one of the boxes a bit. Then it is possible to select the connector again.
Reproducible. Reassigned.
Another workaround is to copy the slide. Connectors in the new slide are selectable. Connectors in the original remain unselectable.
I've experienced similar symptoms of what appears to be the same underlying problem. Steps to reproduce: For example, in a blank Draw document: 1) create a connector (anywhere on the page) unattached to any objects. 2) move one of the connector's end-points (such that the connector's bounding box changes) 3) click on a blank part of the page to deselect the connector. 4) now try to click on the connector to select it. Result: The connector can't be selected. Workaround: Drag a selection rectangle which encloses its *previous* bounding-box (i.e. before its end-point was moved at step 2). The connector seems to think it's still at the old location on the page.
Is seems the connectors are linked to "somethig". Workaround: Sometimes selecting a element and cycling trough them by mean of TAB can lead to select the stuck connector.
I have exactly the same issue with OOo 3.2.1 on Ubuntu 10.04. The connectors become selectable again after reopening the file. This bug is very annoying.
