Amateur user - but not totally stupid
Printer set to default page size A4
Start OpenOffice Drawing
Add nothing to blank page
Try print - either Print File Directly or through File / Print 
Error - page settings do not match print range.
Try Format / Page / Page - shows paper format set to A4
If I do add objects to the page, and print 'trimmed', the system seems to be assuming A5 paper.
Try changing to A5 and back to A4 - no impact.

There will be a new printer dialog in OOo3.2. Please try the actual Developer

Correction: The new dialog will be in OOo3.3, not in 3.2
