For OpenOffice Calc; Filter Criteria:

With the following data table in Calc.

Item	Data
1	1.1
2	1.2
3	1.3
4	1.4
5	1.5

*use standard filter and set to 
Data; contains; 1 ==> yielded no data ( expecting all lines to show up)

*use standard filter and set to
Data; = ; *1*  ==> yiedled no data (expecting result as "contains")

Your values in column "Data" are numbers. The "contains"-operator as well as the
* are only meant for strings.

Works as designed.

Issue invalid.
