Point elimination tool does not eliminate points without interaction. Consider a
situation when a complex shape is imported into a drawing. Shape contains some
thousand points. There is no tool for the point reduction automatically. Such
tool must have its own dialogue. The user  must be able to chose the
line/polygon generalization method (angle, distance or both) and threshold
values. These values must be independent from angle value for the point
elimination tool.

An example will be added as an ODG file.

The example file was created with a help of a small perl script. The script
reads/write only MapInfo Interchange format files. Afterwards MIF files were
converted to DXF. The last one was imported into the drawing. It's not very
helpful for OOo users. If somebody points me to useful resources "how to create
macro for OOo.Draw (and OOo.Impress) using python", I'll be grateful.
