Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 111500
pyuno: allow building against internal Python framework (Mac OS X)
Last modified: 2013-07-30 02:40:22 UTC
modify launcher/wrapper to be able to use OOo internal python that is compiled as framework. Move creation of the python zip (for installset packing) to pyuno (see other issue)
Created attachment 69382 [details] patch, add launcher-wrapper for OOo-internal Python framework
Hi Jörg, are you still taking care of pyuno? If so, please have a look ...
Created attachment 69403 [details] revised patch, uses install_name_tool
Created attachment 69404 [details] macosx-dylib-link-list is "too clever", make it ignore the OOoPython.framework
I think I am having a problem that could be solved with this patch. But, where do I add it? Do I have to download the source for OOo, and then recompile it all along with this patch? Any help you can provide would be much appreciated. Sincerely, Seth
I'm adding this comment to all open issues with Issue Type == PATCH. We have 220 such issues, many of them quite old. I apologize for that. We need your help in prioritizing which patches should be integrated into our next release, Apache OpenOffice 4.0. If you have submitted a patch and think it is applicable for AOO 4.0, please respond with a comment to let us know. On the other hand, if the patch is no longer relevant, please let us know that as well. If you have any general questions or want to discuss this further, please send a note to our dev mailing list: dev@openoffice.apache.org Thanks! -Rob
