Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 111794
Cannot close the Task View panel permanently
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:43:07 UTC
It is impossible to set up Impress to close the Task View Panel permanently. The procedure as follows does not work: View -> Toolbars - (name of the toolbar) -> uncheck When I close the View panel, then a document, then Impresss and start Impress again, the Task panel is open again. It's really annoying. System info: Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala. OO 3.1.1, build 9420. PS: I reported this issue to forum.openoffice.cz on 26/11/2009 (Fedora 10, OO 3.0.1, build 9379) with no success...
Changed to enhancement. AFAIK this will be part of the "Better Defaults"- Project (http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/User_Experience/Improving_OOo_Default_Settings).
Reproducible with AOOo 3.4 on WIN7 64Bit. Same with Slides pane and DRAW Slides pane and
