Description beeeno 2010-06-28 18:48:17 UTC
With a table inserted and selected, use of the scroll arrow on either scroll bar
to nudge page over a bit can send page continually jerking along until it
reaches the limits of the usable area (well off page itself). Nothing will stop
it, Esc does not work, and all menus for any function are unusable until it
finishes the scroll action and bounces back a couple of nudges. This problem is
not always happening, but usually after a couple of nudges in one direction, and
then one in the other, off it goes, and again and again.. Typically when you
have several table/text boxes on a page, you may wish to move along to another.
Particularly annoying is when close up and zoomed in, in which case the
uncontrollable scroll takes ages to complete its journey, before any menus work
again. This only happens with the scroll arrows, not the slider.

The only thing that was reproducible here is a kind "reservoir of clicks". When
clicking several times on the scroll arrow the repaint of the view is not as
fast as the clicking (especially when a table is in the view). Every click will
be executed as a scroll after another. Even when you have stopped clicking all
former clicks will be executed. Is that what you mean? Does the problem also
occure if you keep the arrow pressed?
