Created a desktop printer. Dragging multiple .xls to the shortcut doesn't 
print. OpenOffice is opened, but does nothing else. Neither the OpenOffice 
start window nor Calc opens.

.xls and .doc open in OpenOffice when launched from Finder.

The print shortcut does work with .doc, images, and .txt files. Images and .txt 
are not assigned to OpenOffice, but that is just to note that the shortcut 
itself does work.

To create a desktop printer, open Print&Fax and drag your printer to the 
desktop.
