Description Martin Hollmichel 2000-11-09 16:15:43 UTC
the project owner is not able to add new modules to his project with the
administrative webinterface. It's only possible for persons with higher
privilges.
Comment 1 stx123 2000-11-16 18:43:11 UTC
"High priviledged Admins" have to do this at the moment. As this gets more and
more a burden, please let us know, whether there are technical reasons.
Comment 2 Unknown 2000-12-12 07:54:28 UTC
Reassigned to goolie
for ownership
(considering legacy related issue experience / responsibility / ownership
and role & responsibility related).

Please verify this has been resolved,
then close issue.

If not,
then may more appropriately be reassigned to jeremy
(to coordinate support from chris toward resolution).
Comment 3 Unknown 2001-01-09 03:38:51 UTC
This appears to be fixed.
Comment 4 Unknown 2001-01-09 03:43:51 UTC
fixed.
Comment 5 stx123 2001-04-06 13:55:38 UTC
Being logged in as mi (Michael Hoennig) the Admin Front end doesn't offer "Add
New Module" for the API project. mi is onwner.
Comment 6 Martin Hollmichel 2001-04-06 14:40:19 UTC
Editing commit access for new members is still not possible. Michael, can I use
you for testing those issues, because I'm at the same time adminstrator and
would otherwise to provide a test account and module for having testing
possiblities on those stuff ?
Comment 7 stx123 2001-04-06 15:55:42 UTC
Of course, no problem.
Comment 8 Unknown 2001-04-06 18:31:16 UTC
Hi -

After trying some things with a test account, I granted Michael the Domain
Privilege of 'Project Owner' which provides the ability to add modules and user
privileges to projects a user owns.

Seems that this simple sentence explains all problems, we had before. Thanks.
My Understanding:
All project leads mentioned on
http://www.openoffice.org/projects_and_owners.html
should have domain status as project owner. Only then they are able to maintain
their project.
Correct?
Comment 10 Unknown 2001-04-06 20:59:43 UTC
yes, that's correct. All project leads should be project owners.
Comment 11 Unknown 2001-04-06 22:24:38 UTC
Hi,

I have updated the privileges for all users listed at
http://www.openoffice.org/projects_and_owners.html

They now all have at least Project Owner status in the domain (more privileged
accounts were left as is).

Martin, the "of course" from Stefan was actually from me. Stefan was still
logged in on my computer.

Comment 14 stx123 2001-04-11 08:59:51 UTC
