1. new a document
2. select the menu of tool--media player
3. select a video,and insert it in the document.
4. a new object is inserted, cut it ,it is still in the position.

Reproducible with AVI in Attachment 23769 [details] for Issue 44947, Writer document "AOO 4.1.0 RC3 – English UI / German locale [AOO410m17(Build:9763)  -  Rev. 1586584 2014-04-11 08:56:50]" on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", “historic” 4. User Profile used for all predecessor versions

Additional Info:
(a) NOT reproducible with Calc, Draw, so I change Component for now
(b) Not a new effect, already reproducible with OOo 3.3.0
