Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 12529
Can't the frame grid be hidden within the context menue.
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:34:07 UTC
I find the frame grid on pages to be a major distraction. Can the user not be given an option to hide the frame grid by simply right-clicking anywhere on the page or using format-> page?
SBA: Reassigned to Bettina from the User Experience team for consideration.
As you might know it's possible to switch off the grid in Writer by > Tools > Options > Text Document > Grid However one could think about adding an option into the context menue of rightclick into white page area to change the grid options. Set to New.
