Description cluster 2003-03-27 00:09:58 UTC
My mother has been working on an evaluation project for her university using
OpenOffice. Her file has grown to 16 KB, she has been saving on a regular
basis, when suddenly Office froze as she was working in it. She closed it and
tried to open the file again. As the file was opening and the progress bar was
moving, the entire program froze. I downloaded it to my computer with another
Linux distribution but the same OpenOffice version and it did the same thing. I
downloaded it to another computer with Windows 2000 and the same version of
OpenOffice and it froze at the same point.

I put this file on the web, and it's at the URL provided.

I place this report into the XML section because I think that what causes the
freeze is the XML format of the file itself; OpenOffice for some reason cannot
handle it.

If there is any way that this file can be "normalized" and opened from
OpenOffice again, my mom and I would be eternally grateful, as this is a very
important file.

The URL you provided is not working. Can you please provide the
document as attachment to this issue

Sorry, I deleted the file from my webserver because I forgot why I put
it there and assumed it was a favor for someone which I forgot to delete.

So, I'm afraid it's gone. Resolving the bug.
