Description issues@www 2000-11-13 21:44:51 UTC
Presentation file which consists of a single slide with a bulletted list on a
black background.
OpenOffice handles this fine, but when the file is exported to Powerpoint,
clicking in the bulletted list (in Powerpoint) causes the textbox to be
rendered in solid white, which makes reading the white text difficult!
This doesn't happen if you take a powerpoint "new" document, and make the
background black, and change the slide master to have white text. When you do
that the background is Black

[Workaround - the problem is the slide master contains a black rectangle
instead of black background. Editing the slide master to remove the rectangle
and replacing it with a black background in PowerPoint works just fine]

BH: That is not a bug of OpenOffice. The problem is PowerPoint's handling with
the black rectangle, which is in the document used as background. You can
reproduce that bug in PowerPoint itself:
-Create a new doc with layout title/bulletted text in PowerPoint,
-change into the slide master,
-create a black rectangle in the size of the page, quit the master,
-choose white as textcolor and write some text -> the textobject is completly
rendered in white and editing in white not readable.
