Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 13966
"AccessibleContextInfo.java' not found, and can't be made"
Last modified: 2003-05-06 23:20:40 UTC
I am attempting to build OOo 1.1 beta, using tcsh. A couple of hours into the build, it stops on an error, see the output below. Last output from dmake: Making: ../wntmsci9.pro/misc/unomakers.dpc dmake subdmake=true -f makefile.mk product="full" depend=t ALLDPC ------------------------------ No Dependencies javamaker -X /cygdrive/c/oo_1.1beta_src/solver/644/wntmsci9.pro/bin/types.rdb -T org.openoffice.accessibility.internal.AccessibleState -Torg.openoffice.accessibi lity.internal.CharacterAttributes -Torg.openoffice.accessibility.internal.XAcces sibilityInformationProvider -Torg.openoffice.accessibility.internal.XGlobalFocus Listener -BUCR -O../wntmsci9.pro/misc/java ../wntmsci9.pro/ucr/internal.db c:\oo_1.1beta_src\solver\644\wntmsci9.pro\bin\javamaker.exe : init registries fa iled, check your registry files. dmake: Error -- `../wntmsci9.pro/misc/java/org/openoffice/accessibility/interna l/AccessibleContextInfo.java' not found, and can't be made echo: No match. This is fixed in cws_srx644_20030412. Try revision 1.6.26.1 for accessibility/idl/makefile.mk
I'm puzzled. Does that mean that the released 1.1 beta sources cannot be built out of the box???
Ah, yes at least the w32-tcsh version might have some problems, w32-4nt builds out of the box. It's in the archives, cws_srx644_ooo_1beta and cws_srx644_20030412 were created at the same time, and Martin didn't want us to commit patches to both branches, so I verified that the beta1 branch was buildable with with the standard 4nt environment and put the missing w32-tcsh patches in the 0412 branch. The beta1 patches were merged to 0412 later on. That's the reason why the w32-tcsh build instructions state w32-tcsh is usable starting with the 0412 branch. Actually there are very few patches that went into 0412 to fix some w32-tcsh problems, so there will be very few problems in your beta1 source archive. Sorry, but w32-tcsh is bleeding edge. The new cws branch Martin will (hopefully) create tomorrow should be buildable with w32-tcsh.
I close this issue, cws...beta2 is buildable with tcsh.
