it would be nice if the combination of OpenOffice.org gif and "IssueZilla:"
text could be artfully combined with better matching alignment, color and font.
I tried playing with vertical alignment and it didn't help.
It seemed bogus to spend much time trying to align the OOo gif with the text
since it would still look bad anyways in some other browser.

I'm hoping to get some graphics assistance to make this look better.

Note, see http://www.openoffice.org/issues/editparams.cgi 'bannerhtml'
and 'blurbhtml' parameters for where this information is set. It's not like we
can't easily set the HTML different, so anybody has a suggestion for

Kerry,

Obviously, a graphic design improvement opportunity, admittedly lower priority.

BTW ...
noticeably different appearance between my Netscape 4.72/Wintel platform and
Shane's Netscape 4.74/Lintel platform.

What would be your recommendation(s)?

Reassigned to louis

(to coordinate support from kerry/chris toward resolution)

Neils is right, the page is awful. But, I did some experimenting, and could not
get to that page without explicitly entering it. Under what circumstances does
one get there? It's not linked to anything I could find--
I did play with the page design and came up with something worthy of
IssueZilla....

I am unsure about *when* I will fix this page, as not only do I not know
under what circumstances one even gets to it, but if one still does at all.
Actually, I have had difficulty accessing all the openoffice.org/issues/
pages--so until such time as I can get to them, there will be no fix.
( In fact, as far as I have been able to determine, the directory /issues/
does not seem to be in the cvs repository. I'm sure, however, it must be; I
just have not been able to access it. )
