Description issues@www 2000-11-13 23:19:22 UTC
The attached file, has text that fits onto
the screen with Openoffice.

When exported to POwerpoint, the "Last Line"
drops off the bottom of the slide.

Should be ui not code
Comment 4 bettina.haberer 2001-01-25 17:05:54 UTC
The problem is the proportional linespacing under 100%, that causes that bad
effect. Linespacing under 100% should be implemented.

This is not generally a problem of the Powerpoint export. I have added an
attachment (linespac.zip), that demonstrates a linespacing problem with
texthandling in impress itself. There should be no difference between the
height of the two fonts that are used in this document.

When I undertand Sven Jacobi correctly, the problem is, that lines with line
spacing 100% should have the same hight with any 20Pt font, because he expects
the line height to be 20Pt.
This is not true, Font A with 20Pt can be taller than Font B, so the lines are
higher.

This Issue is now fixed and available up from version 638, so I
reopened this Issue. All the work is done in the PowerPoint filter, I
have added a mapping that translates the linespacing of each font to
the corresponding linespacing in PowerPoint. That also means that if
a text in OpenOffice is single lined, it must not always been single
lined in PowerPoint to have an identical look.

Changed status to fixed. (version638h)
