The text in the attached presetation
is a red word, shadowed.  In OpenOffice
the shadow is black.  WHen the file is exported
to Powerpoint, Powerpoint displayed the shadow 
as white, not black.

That is not a bug. In PowerPoint the textshadow is always shown in gray (even 
if the fontcolor is also gray) and cannot be changed. So after PPT-export a 
textshadow-color only can be displayed in gray.
