It would appear that OpenOffice uses slightly large 
bullet sizes than it exports to owerpoint.

the attached presetation bullet descends below the 
middle bar of the "e" and above the top of the "e". 
In powerpoint it is small enough to fit between these bounds.

With a new actual version (not yet public) it´s not reproducible, has to be 
verified.

There is a little difference in the bullet-size in PowerPoint and 
OpenOffice visible.

In the latest version the size of the bullet is correct. Due to the 
fact, that this Issue is really old, and in one year there has been a 
lot of changes in the PowerPoint filter, I can not say exactly up 
from which version this bug doesn't appear anymore.

The bug is fixed in the meantime.
I tested the fix in OOo1.1.
change the resolution to fixed.
