The attached file has a number of text tables that should
suuperimpose.  Spacing is created using (default) tabstops and spaces.

Works great in powerpoint, but the numbers spread onto multiple lines
with openoffice, and the table format is lost.

An example, where our problems with use of tabs and spaces after Power Point-
Export are obvious.

Different problems are demonstrated by the attached document. Significant here 
is that tabulators disappear when they are first in the paragraph and no bullet 
is selected. Another problem is the default tabulator. Powerpoint supports a 
default tabulator for each textobject. Currently in OpenOffice a default 
tabulator is supported for the whole document only. That means each default 
tabulator has to be replaced by a hard tabulator attribute. That is not 
perfect, but the result that is displayed will be the same. In long term the 
feature of having a default tabulator for each paragraph should be implemented.

The tabulator problem is fixed in version 621 in file 
svx/source/svdraw/svdfppt.cxx (r1.25)

The other problems with the attached document will hopefully be fixed by Issue 
143.

The fix for this issue will be available up from version 638h.
Due to the huge amount of changed files, I spare to provide an exact 
list of files that are changed, but I can say that the fix depends to 
the project svx only.
