Description issues@www 2000-11-16 21:39:14 UTC
attached file is a simple set of paragraphs which are introduced one at a time
with a mouse click. the previous entry being dimmed.

What happens is that one mouse click dims the previous, the second introduces
the next line: THis should only need a single click.

It looks as though OpenOffice correctly creats the animation links, but doesn't
flow the chain of events through, rather it expects a mouse click for each
event to be processed.

It means an improvment to an existing feature (after effect).
Comment 3 michael.bemmer 2001-01-19 09:36:48 UTC
Reassigned to Falko, who is responsible for evaluating enhancements.

When looking at this file with OOo 632, 632 now hangs in presentation mode
until the PC is power-reset.

This import "feature" needs new Impress features. They will be
implemented in 6+
Comment 8 falko.tesch 2001-09-20 13:33:13 UTC
Yes, we don't have a real "After" event. Means we can only workaround
any "after" event/animation in poerPoint. This creates this strang
behaviour.
I just came from our MS Office Filter List Meeting for PowerPoint
97/2000/XP filter.
It was decided to have the "after" effect (among many other items) to
be a mandatory iten in StarOffice 6.x.

FT: This issue is quite old now and many things have changed (or haven't).
Jon, can you please re-check your issue(s) with OO.o 1.1 and write one
or more new issues please?
For the moment I know that we have done a lot of enhancements in our
PPT filters but you might want to take closer look.
(BTW, please close this one and open new one(s))
