This is new to OpenOffice (StarOffice works): A numbered list of the format (A) 
(B) (C) etc does not display correctly. it display the (A) as "box A box ) 2" 
whete box is a drawn box character.

The real issue is, that Writer adds the indents on the left. Has to be solved by
Writer-Dev.

MRU->CMC: that one is for you to fix. It still occurs in a 618a. The characters
added to the number format are not imported correctly anymore. In SO 5.2 it was
ok.

Have checked in fix for this. Obviously a nasty oversight happened in moving to
the new String class and there was a change of "a pointer to a string increment"
to "append a string representation of a number to the string"!
