Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 187
modules file is missing a new module
Last modified: 2004-01-07 13:21:33 UTC
*THIS* *IS* *CRITICAL* As there is a new module called ridljar in project udk and it needs to be: a) defined as a module (add line: ridljar udk/ridljar to modules file) b) added to the OpenOffice alias It is NOT possible to make the OpenOffice613 snapshot otherwise.
Sander, I just created the ridljar module in the UDK project, so that part is done. However, I'm not sure what you mean by "added to the OpenOffice alias", could you please clarify? Is there some email alias you want created, or a link to the new module on the website?
I'll take this issue for now.
Markus: please confirm that you are able to make new modules yourself via the OpenOffice admin interface Sander: in the future, please assign any new modules that need to be created to the leader of that project; if the project leader is unable to create new modules, that is our problem and should be assigned to me, P1, for resolution. I'm still waiting for clarification on "alias" issue.
The alias issue is simple - the modules file defines a cvs alias - which in the case of 'OpenOffice' lists all modules that are to be checked out if one wants to build OpenOffice. If ridljar is not in that alias, the command cvs co -r tag OpenOffice will not even attempt to check out the module ridljar.
This sounds like a job for... Jeremy Hogan! Jeremy, can you please do this ASAP? It's a P1 task for the any-time-now 613 build, which will happen friday or early next week probably.
Added ridljar to openoffice and anoncvs modules files, checked in modules, all should be well.
