Last modified: 2019-07-29 09:56:55 UTC
To more increase the number of spread sheets for 512 or and the line number for 64000 or more. Some spread sheets that links with other spread sheets has finish being harmed for this limit.
Hi, this is a double to 1633 Therefore I set the flags. Frank *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 1633 ***

More rows its OK and more increase the number of spread sheets?
Hi Eike, as discussed. Frank
I take it as a "reminder" and proxy issue.
I was stuck recently, when I couldn't import a big csv file with 80000 records. I suspect row or column number increase would require change in cell numbering arythmetics, but I guess many would appreciate such a change. Maybe I will have to plunge into source code.
I second the request to break the 256 sheet limit. Calc is far behind the competition in this point. Maybe this issue should concentrate on the sheet limit; the column limit is discussed in another issue.
Tkreft, What issue are you referring to with > the column limit is discussed in another issue Eike

As described in issue 52528 the limited number of sheets limits the number of links to external files when importing from Excel. Are there any efforts since then?
@volkerme: handling of external references changed and doesn't affect the number of available sheets anymore, see http://sc.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=features&msgNo=289
Calc should hbe able to handle at least the amount of rows (1 million+), columns (16 000+) and worksheets (16000+) as QuattroPro 10-12-13-14-15!
Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
Any news on this?
