Louis,

We need to put this information up on a page unto itself with appropriate
links. Here's the file. Let's talk about this when you get to it.
Thanks!
Michelle

added a file, "contributing," in openoffice.org linked to "contributing" on the
homepage left navbar. lsp

The page should mention that only "submissions of 10 changed lines or more" have
to go through IssueZilla. Smaller patches will be taken from the dev@<project>
lists, because there is no copyright assignment needed.
Comment 4 Unknown 2000-12-08 00:19:28 UTC
Contributing link on left nav bar disappears when on certain pages such as
usability study,
http://www.openoffice.org/project_issues.html
and probably other places.

Why is this happening?
Thanks,
Michelle

This issue has evolved. As the link and page currently stand, they work as
intended. It has been fixed. Other links and pages, targeted more to
project owners, are in the offing, and will merit attention in the future. As
far as Michelle's experience of having the link disappear, I suspect that
was an artifact of the caching problem. It should not recur, or if it does, its
recurrence will be a one-time event, a characteristic of the way we have
the cache distrubution set up.-L

As agreed with Louis, we can close all the resolved fixed issues he owns.
