Description ooo 2000-12-11 15:55:38 UTC
http://api.openoffice.org/tutorial.pdf contains a PDF file of slightly over 3 MB
in size. When I click on the link to this file on http://api.openoffice.org, my
browser tries to download it (I guess, the server gives the wrong mime type).
When I download it explicitely afterwards, I get a broken file, 4 K in size.

Reassigned to louis
for ownership
(to coordinate support from kerry/chris toward resolution)

Considering legacy related issue experience / responsibility / ownership
may more appropriately be reassigned to goolie
(to coordinate support from chris toward resolution).

FYI ...
I can duplicate / verify the issue.

I tried accessing http://api.openoffice.org/tutorial.pdf but got nowhwere; I
don't think my browser was trying to download anything. My guess--just a
guess--is that the address for the pdf doc. is mistaken. Perhaps the document
need only be re-placed in the directory? I don't have the pdf file; indeed, I
don't think I have access to that folder, as my access is pretty much limited to
the common areas (navbars and www).

Have tried to fix this problem, but am unable to b/c I lack the original pdf
document. Searched and could not find it. Nor do I seem to have access to where
it should be.
Michael: perhaps you have this document? If so, it probably needs only to be
reloaded into the directory.
Comment 6 lsuarezpotts 2001-02-13 23:21:21 UTC
I am unable to fix this problem because I lack the necessary documents and
access to the relevant site. I am reassigning to Michael for resolution.
Michael, if this doesn't work out, let me know.

The document is checked in as cookbook.pdf in the same directory. AFAIK a "cvs
admin -kb tutorial.pdf" is all we need, but I don't have the right to do it.
Comment 8 Unknown 2001-02-21 04:09:50 UTC
if i download
http://api.openoffice.org/basic/man/tutorial/tutorial.pdf
it works fine.... the URL listed above is invalid.
Comment 9 ooo 2001-02-21 14:18:47 UTC
Finally, I moved the file. I hope the next time, when I need a "cvs admin -kb",
and I guess that was the problem, I'd like to get it faster.
