Description issues@www 2000-12-20 12:59:32 UTC
When I tried to install 619 (it faile dby the way), the progress bar for the
file copying reached 107 per cent before it skipped onto the next item. This
just gived the user a bad first impression, because if the installer can't
realise that either

a) it can't install more than the full amount
b) even if it can, doing so is probably a bad idea

then are they really going to use the spreadsheet?

P.S. I did search for this, so if it is a duplicate then sorry.
P.P.S I left this as a P3 because I didn't know whether P1 was severe or nit,
but I think it is probably something to be fixed before a final install image
is made

Hi Olli,
I've tried on NT4 and I reached 119%.

Thanks

The progress now never runs over 100% anymore.

BUT!!!

The problem was that someone was manipulating the ooo installation by hand. All
file sizes and sub file sizes of zip archives are written down in the
installation script to have no file access for size checks. If changing the
contents of an archive additional, in every case the size property of the
corresponding file object must be changed too.
