Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 26734
Export to EPS and font shading (several font effects are lost )
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:29:38 UTC
When exporting a drawing to EPS, font shading is lost completely. This defect appeared on my linux boxes (Fedora 1, Suse 8.2) in OO version 1.0.3 through 1.1.1RC. Any chance to be fixed in final ver. 1.1.1 ?
Would it be possible to attach an example document, please (sxi or sxd file). Thanks in advance.

Created attachment 13980 [details] EPS with missing font shading exported from OO Draw
I attached Sxd sample file and its Eps version generated in my OO 1.1.1RC3. If it is helpfull, I exported as Level 2, Grayscale (it was wrong even if I used color), no compression.
Summary extended. This bug is duplicate to an internal one (91792) that was closed because of this. External viewers have no way of seeing this.
Target set to 2.0 according to closed duplicate 91792.
setting issue to "NEW"
According to the OOo roadmap retargeting to 'OOo Later'.
The VCL API OutputDevice::GetTextOutline has no chance to directly export polygons with different colors... probably should add another API like GetShadePosition() and GetShadeColor(), so the EPS export can do this manually...
