Please provide means for downloading given mailing list's messages in a single file in mbox format. That would be very handy.

providing mailing list archives in mbox format can't be done by a project lead.

IMHO, 
I agree with Stefan. 

As this relates to mailing lists, 
reassigning to goolie 
for ownership 
(to coordinate technical support as required toward resolution). 

Please Accept Issue 
and follow-up, especially regarding: 
* requirements
* implementation alternatives
* technical feasibility and supportability

Yikes, i was responding to another issue entirely!  My browswer as acting a 
little weird the other day, must have thought i was on another issue.

Anyway, i'll look into this.
