Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 28486
Formatting text embedded in objects over-complex!
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:36:17 UTC
### Problem ### It is very difficult to format text that has been added to an object (let's say a standard box) or even a text-box. Many unnecessary additional steps are needed. - The text-formatting toolbar only pops up when double-clicking object and entering to text-edit mode. - Formatting cannot be repeated on another object - Formatting text in multiple objects is not possible ### Possible Resolution ### - Show text formatting toolbar even when not in text-edit mode (e.g. when just selecting an object), allowing formatting of the embedded text. This must also work when multiple objects are selected. - Allow repetitition of text formatting task ### Result ### Will greatly enhance the ease of working with OO Draw, especially making block-diagrams
