Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 28736
"Range includes column labels" should be smarter
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:35:59 UTC
There's an option "Range includes column labels" that is allowed when a table is sorted. It would be nice if this option is smarter, and can either remember, or guess when a cell is probably a column label. Some ways it could determine this: * Is the cell at the top of a column? * Is it styled differently to the cells below it? * Does the data in this top cell appear different to those in lower cells (e.g. text vs dates/numbers) Failing that, it would be nice if the column labels were marked as column labels - it'd save me a lot of time. Thanks
Just to clarify: > Failing that, it would be nice if the column > labels were marked as column labels That is - internally by OO.org.
Hi Bettina, one for you. Frank
I'd like to change this. OOo does seem to internally tag a column label as being a column label once I've told it, but the initial guess at whether something is a column label doesn't seem to work (or exist?)
To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on my owner to the owner "requirements".
