System: MS WNT 4 SP5

Could not open different MS Excel Spreadsheets via File-Open: Shortly the watch
occurs, nothing happens after this.

Moreover, open via MS Windows Explorer results in launching of a process
soffice.exe and nothing shows up or such, shortly: nothings happens but memory
and process space consumption.

Spreadsheets were produced by MS Excel 97 SR-2

We need more details about the files. Password protected, how many rows, how
many columns, use off Excel AddIn's. One or two files would be great. Otherwise
we have to close the issue due to 'not reproduceable' !

It failed even with an empty excel spreadsheet but I couls send it, anyway.

We could reproduce this behaviour on W98 without SE or ME.

I used the following Add-Ins:

	Bericht-Manager
	Solver
	Vorlagen-Assistent mit Datenarchivierung
