Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 3146
Feature Request: Project based templates.
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:42:19 UTC
I was surprised to find that when I set a new template, that it was global to the install, not local to my own account. I would actually like to make it more specific than that: I would like the ability to have a 'project' file in a directory; that project file would contain information about files in the project, what template they used, how the numbering was arranged for printing, and so on. The organizer would change a bit, as it would have one more layer: Inherit from project template. And you could apply a change to the project template. This would make keeping a consistent look on a series of documents much easier to do.
