Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 31690
Clipboard in the TextFrame doesn't copy the complete selected text
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:38:26 UTC
1) insert/frame / type , uncheck autosize 2) input ABCDEFG in the frame 3) press Shift+Home ,Edit/Copy 4) in the document , Edit/Paste , you will get G . We hope to get ABCDEFG , it is OK in 680m44 (HDE has tested) .
SBA->HLI: Not reproducible in 680_m49. Note: I just wrote issue 32431 concerning clipboard in 680.
SBA: Set to Worksforme. SBA->HLI: Please close if you agree.
SBA: Now I can reproduce. The critical aspect is to leave the frame that small that the text in it isn't visible. Reopened.
SBA: I adjusted the summary to meet the findings. I don't think that this is a critical problem because the normal user would not deal with text in a box thathe can not see himself. Target set to "OOo Later". SBA->FME: As seen, in OOo 1.1.2 the displayed Text "adjusts" within the frame while the selection is made. Therefore the clipboard used to get "more". INHO the clipboard should be able to get the entire text, even if it is partly invisible (red arrow showing in frame) so that <Ctrl>+<A> selects the whole text in a text frame. Reassigned to FME.
